Meet Zig
I know what you’re thinking.. when the hell did she get a dog?!? It was quite sudden, not really my decision, but here’s the full lowdown. Zig isn’t just my dog, he’s shared with my best friend, whom he lives with. I spend a few days a week with them and the rest of my time at my place. Yeah I know it isn’t traditional, but it works for me, it works for us, and Zig is loved. We rescued him from Paws and I can’t say enough about the staff and the ease of the adoption process so if you’re considering adding a furry friend to your family, please check out their site ASAP.
Here’s the thing we didn’t know before getting Zig. Dogs are fucking expensive. I knew it would be costly, but upfront Petco ruined the bank account. He also got an eye infection and parasite as soon as he was adopted, so there were many visits to the vet. The important thing is that we got him all the goods, he’s free of infections, and enjoying his last days of puppyhood. I feel blessed to be a part of his life and the responsibility of giving him the best life possible.
In case you have the need, here are all of the things we got him.
